Beginners Yoga Course
Our Beginners Yoga 6 Week Course is the ideal introduction to Hatha yoga, and our teachers take each class step by step to ensure you are confident in the most common yoga poses with adjustments to suit your body. The 6 week course is perfect for students who are first time yogis, or those wanting to expand their knowledge and confidence and refine their poses. The course focuses on the history and philosophy of yoga, breathing, meditation and alignment .We keep our beginners classes at 10 students to ensure every student receives individual attention. If you miss a week you can always make it up in the next beginner’s course.
The 6 weeks Beginners Yoga Course includes:
- Week 1: Introduction to yoga, pranayama (breathing) and sun salutations
- Week 2: Standing poses, core and twists.
- Week 3: Meditation, mindfulness and balance poses.
- Week 4: Hip and heart openers
- Week 5: Balances and inversions for beginners
- Week 6: Sequencing and Flow.
